nugs

Nugs are the trimmed, seedless flower buds of the hemp plant — the part of the crop where cannabinoids and terpenes are most concentrated. If you are shopping for CBD flower, knowing what separates a well-grown nug from leftover trim makes it easier to compare one product to the next. This guide covers what to look for, how nugs are prepared, and how to keep them fresh after delivery.

Key Features

• Hand-trimmed buds with intact structure and minimal leaf
• Slow-cured for full terpene retention and smooth aroma
• Batch-tested for cannabinoid content and purity
• Free of seeds, stems, and loose shake
• Distinct strain profiles, from earthy to citrus-forward
• Harvest-dated so you know the age of the flower
• Sealed, light-blocking packaging with a humidity pack

Materials and Specifications

Quality nugs start with hemp grown for flower rather than fiber, harvested at peak maturity and dried slowly before curing. Expect dense, springy buds with a moisture level that feels soft but not damp, a visible coating of resin, and a clean, strain-specific smell. Most sellers list the cannabinoid profile, harvest date, and trim style on the product page, which makes side-by-side comparison straightforward. Nugs are typically sold whole so you can grind or decarboxylate them yourself.

What are nugs, exactly?

Nugs are the floral clusters of female hemp plants, trimmed of fan leaves and stems. In a CBD shop the term refers to raw hemp flower, not oil, capsules, or edibles.

How do I choose the right nug?

Start with the posted cannabinoid ratio and terpene description, then match them to the format you plan to use — whole buds for grinding, smaller buds for value. Read the lab report before you buy.

How should I store nugs?

Keep them in an airtight, opaque jar away from heat and light, and add a humidity pack if the container is large. Properly stored flower holds its aroma for several months.

Shipping and Returns

Orders ship in discreet, odour-resistant packaging, usually within one business day, and each pouch is sealed to protect the buds in transit. If a package arrives damaged, short, or not as described, contact support with your order number and photos so the team can arrange a replacement or refund.
