Kids Accidentally Ate Cannabis: What to Do
When kids accidentally consume cannabis, it's a situation that requires immediate attention and a clear plan of action. Here's what you need to do and the best CBD products to have on hand.
- Immediate Assessment: Determine if the ingestion was of THC or CBD. THC can be more potent and dangerous, especially for children.
- Stay Calm: Remain calm to keep the child from panicking.
- Contact Poison Control: Immediately call the poison control center for guidance.
- Monitor Symptoms: Look for symptoms like drowsiness, increased heart rate, and confusion.
- Support Breathing: If necessary, help the child to breathe by keeping the airway clear.
- Keep Hydrated: Offer small amounts of water if the child is conscious and able to drink.
- Stay Informed: Be prepared with the CBD product information in case there are questions.
The materials used in the best CBD products are carefully selected to ensure safety and effectiveness. Ingredients like hemp, full-spectrum or broad-spectrum extracts, and pure CBD isolate are common. Always check for third-party lab testing to verify purity and potency.
When shipping and returns are considered, reliability is key. Choose CBD vendors that offer discreet shipping and a straightforward returns policy, ensuring peace of mind for customers.
