Materials, Potency, and Specs

Most tinctures you will find locally are made with CO2 or ethanol extraction, then blended into a carrier oil such as MCT coconut oil or cold-pressed hemp seed oil. Potency is listed in milligrams: a 30 mL bottle labeled 1000 mg delivers roughly 33 mg per 1 mL dropper, though real-world accuracy depends on batch testing. Capsules and gummies hold a fixed amount per piece, while tinctures let you fine-tune. Store products away from heat and direct light, and always check the batch date.

Shipping and Returns

Local orders are typically ready for same-day pickup, and most shops ship within one to two business days in plain, discreet packaging. If an item arrives damaged or does not match its label, contact the shop right away. Reputable dispensaries accept returns or exchanges on unopened products within a set window, usually 14 to 30 days, so keep your receipt.

Do I need a medical card to visit a dispensary near me?

It depends on your state and the product. Hemp-derived CBD with no more than 0.3% THC is generally sold without a card, while medical cannabis programs require a state-issued recommendation. Call ahead to confirm.

How can I tell if a local dispensary is reputable?

Ask to see a certificate of analysis for the exact batch you are buying, and confirm the shop is licensed by your state. Transparent testing and clear labeling are the two strongest signals.

What if the product does not work for me?

Start with a low serving, keep a simple log for a week or two, and ask the staff about adjusting. Unopened items can usually be returned under the shop's written policy.
