Cannabis Store Hours

Cannabis store hours generally run from about 9 or 10 a.m. to 8 or 10 p.m. local time, but every state sets its own legal operating window and each shop adjusts from there. If you are shopping for CBD online, the practical takeaway is simple: check the store's posted hours for today, confirm the time zone, and place pickup or delivery orders well before the cutoff rather than at closing time. Schedules also shift on Sundays, holidays, and around state-specific rules, so the shop's own listing always beats a general rule of thumb.

Key Features

• Typical weekday windows of roughly 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with some shops opening at 9 a.m. or staying open until 10 p.m.
• Shorter Sunday and holiday hours, often opening later and closing earlier than on weekdays.
• State-mandated opening and closing limits that a retailer cannot extend, even for a promotion.
• Separate cutoffs for online order pickup, curbside handoff, and local delivery.
• Age and ID checks at the door, which can slow entry during the first and last hour of the day.
• Holiday notices posted a few days in advance on the store's own page or app.
• Time-zone differences to account for when ordering online from another state.

What Shapes a Store's Schedule

Operating hours are set by a mix of state licensing rules, municipal zoning and closing-time ordinances, and the shop's own staffing and restocking schedule. Licensed retailers must stop sales at the state's legal cutoff, so a shop that normally closes at 9 p.m. may still cut off online pickup orders fifteen to thirty minutes earlier to allow for processing. Delivery windows are usually narrower than in-store hours, and some areas license delivery only during daylight. Inventory deliveries, staff shift changes, and security requirements can also trim the first or last hour of the day. Because requirements vary by jurisdiction, the posted schedule on the retailer's own page is the only version worth trusting for a specific date.

Shipping and Returns

Online CBD orders are accepted around the clock and ship on the next business day, with tracking emailed at dispatch. Unopened items can be returned within the window stated on the product page; contact support with your order number and we will walk you through the process.

Do cannabis stores open on Sundays?

Many do, usually with reduced hours such as a late-morning opening and an early-evening close. A few municipalities still restrict Sunday sales, so confirm before you drive over.

Can I place an online order outside store hours?

Yes. The website accepts orders at any hour, and shipped CBD products are not tied to storefront hours at all. Pickup and delivery orders are simply queued for the next open window.

Why do hours differ so much by state?

State licensing authorities set the legal operating window, and local governments can narrow it further. Two shops a few miles apart in different jurisdictions can close at very different times.
