Cannabis Ph Levels
Learn everything you need to know about cannabis pH levels and why they matter for quality and potency.

pH is the single number that decides whether your cannabis plants can actually take up the nutrients you feed them. When the root zone drifts out of range, calcium, magnesium, iron and manganese lock up in the medium even though they are still sitting in your bottle. This guide covers the target range, the tools that hold it steady, and the adjustment routine that carries a garden from seedling through flush.
Soil and peat mixes run best between 6.0 and 7.0, while coco, hydroponics and other soilless systems sit slightly lower at 5.5 to 6.5. Staying inside that window keeps the full set of essential nutrients soluble and reachable by the roots.
Adjusters are blended from potassium hydroxide for pH Up and phosphoric acid for pH Down, both food-grade and pre-diluted for safe handling in small gardens. Meters use a replaceable glass-bulb electrode with automatic temperature compensation and hold accuracy to roughly plus or minus 0.1 pH after a two-point calibration at 4.0 and 7.0. Bottles are HDPE with child-resistant caps and clearly printed dilution ratios.
Orders leave the warehouse within one business day and ship in plain, discreet outer packaging. If a meter arrives out of tolerance or a bottle leaks in transit, contact us for a replacement or a full refund, and unopened adjusters can be returned within the standard window.
Test feed water every time you mix a batch, then check runoff or reservoir pH every few days, because plants and microbes slowly push it around. In hydro, a daily reading takes seconds and prevents most deficiency scares.
Both keep for years when stored capped, upright and out of direct sunlight. Diluted working solutions are best used within a week or two of mixing.
