What pH Should You Grow Cannabis At?
Target 6.0 to 7.0 in soil and 5.5 to 6.5 in coco coir or hydroponics. Staying inside those windows keeps calcium, magnesium, iron, and phosphorus available instead of locked out of reach.
Why Does pH Matter for CBD Hemp Flower?
Off-range pH causes nutrient lockout, which shows up as yellowing leaves, stalled growth, and smaller yields of the trichome-rich flower that CBD is extracted from. Stable pH is one of the least expensive ways to protect quality.
How Often Should You Check pH?
Test every time you mix a fresh batch of nutrients, then recheck the reservoir or runoff every day or two. Recalibrate the meter about once a month and again after long storage.

Materials and Specs
The pen uses a sealed glass-bulb electrode with a replaceable junction and a splash-resistant ABS housing suited to indoor tents and greenhouses. It reads from 0.00 to 14.00 pH with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.01, runs on two button-cell batteries, and arrives with a protective cap. The pH Up and pH Down bottles are HDPE with child-resistant caps and printed dilution charts; each bottle treats roughly 100 gallons of nutrient solution at typical dosing rates. Buffer packets are foil-sealed for a two-year shelf life.
